(SENIOR) GLOBAL PRODUCT MANAGER – METAL PRE-TREATMENT (F/M/D)
Responsibilities
- Strategic Focus: Drive the technical development and strategic direction of metal pre-treatment applications across global markets, ensuring excellence in implementation and innovation
- Subject Matter Expertise: Act as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor for international key customers, delivering in-depth technical consulting and managing complex industrial challenges in close cooperation with local teams.
- Strategy: Lead high-impact global customer and product initiatives, from acquisition and onboarding to long-term development, with a focus on delivering measurable results.
- Portfolio: Orchestrate the lifecycle of a global product portfolio – including new product introductions, harmonization, strategic positioning, audits, and phase-outs.
- Enablement: Design and deliver internal training concepts focused on technical excellence, product differentiation, and competitive advantages for diverse global teams.
Qualifications
- Experience: Extensive, hands-on technical expertise in the field of chemical specialities, ideally with a focus on metal pre-treatment and industrial-scale applications.
- Competence: Documented success in managing complex projects, developing new business, and engaging with key accounts on a technical level.
- Languages: Fluent in English (mandatory); German and/or Mandarin are a strong plus.
- Autonomy: Exceptional ability to operate independently, paired with a hands-on, results-driven mindset.
- Mobility: Willingness to travel internationally (ca.50%) and engage on-site with customers and subsidiaries across regions.
