Support clinical research, external science, and innovation decision-making through robust commercial assessments
Act as the commercial counterpart to the Scientific New Products Team in all pre-commercial new asset processes
Co-lead the prelaunch preparation phase for selected assets transitioning into commercialization
Drive the development of early commercial strategies for selected assets and support global opportunity maximization for Dr. Falk
Ensure strong cross-functional collaboration with Global Market Access, Medical Affairs, Marketing, Clinical Development, and External Innovation
Support the Business Development and Partnering team in commercial out-licensing activities
Main Responsibilities:
Screen and assess business opportunities from a holistic commercial perspective
Evaluate commercial potential, develop business cases, and provide strategic input into go/no-go decisions in cooperation with selected functions
Lead the definition of commercial strategy for selected pre-commercial assets
Develop early go-to-market strategies aligned with stakeholder expectations and commercial goals
Contribute commercial insights into product profiles, lifecycle planning, and early clinical development
Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure integrated and actionable commercial input
Prepare and present commercial recommendations to senior leadership and governance committees
Your qualification
6+ years of experience in Marketing, New Products, Business Development, or related commercial roles in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry
Strong strategic thinking, analytical ability, and business case development skills
Demonstrated experience in early asset shaping and/or go-to-market planning
Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a matrixed, cross-functional environment
Knowledge or experience in Gastroenterology/Hepatology is a strong plus
Excellent communication and influencing skills; comfort presenting to senior leadership
Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or medical field required; MBA or advanced degree preferred
Fluency in English required; German or another European language is beneficial
