Am Institut für Neurobiologie, in der Arbeitsgruppe von Dr. Annarita Patrizi, ist zum nächstmöglichen Zeitpunkt folgende Stelle, zunächst für zwei Jahre zu besetzen:

Biologisch-technische r Assistent in oder Biologielaborant in (w/m/d)

Teilzeit (50%)

Was sind Ihre Aufgabenschwerpunkte?

• Molekularbiologische und zellbiologische Standardmethoden (Extraktion und Analyse von DNA, RNA und Proteinen, Mikroskopie, ELISA, Zellkultur)
• Biochemische Aufgaben, z. B. Immunoblotting, Immunzytochemie und Immunhistochemie
• Aufbereitung von Gewebe mit Hilfe von Vibratom und Kryostat sowie Mikrodissektion von Gewebe und Lichtmikroskopie
• Allgemeine Labororganisation (Organisation des Laborbedarfs, Vorbereitung und Pflege klassischer Reagenzien, Protokollverwaltung, Schnittstelle zum Unternehmen usw.)
• Selbstständige Planung und Durchführung von Laborarbeiten
• Hervorragende Protokollführung, Datenverwaltung, -speicherung und -analyse
Unterstützung bei der Ausbildung/Lehre von Studierenden und jungen Wissenschaftler
• innen

Was erwarten wir? – Ihr Qualifikationsprofil:

Erfolgreich abgeschlossene Ausbildung als Technische r Assistent in (MTA, BTA), Biologielaborant

• in oder eine vergleichbare Ausbildung
• Sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse
• Praktische Kenntnisse in o. g. Methoden (mind. ein Jahr) und MS-Office
• Erfahrung in Tierversuchen mit Zertifikat (z. B. FELASA) ist ein Vorteil
• Hohes Maß an Verantwortungsbewusstsein und Zuverlässigkeit
• Eigenständige und strukturierte Arbeitsweise

At the Institute of Neurobiology, in the working group of Dr Annarita Patrizi, the following position is to be filled from the earliest possible date, initially for two years:

Biological-technical assistant or biology laboratory assistant (f/m/d)

Part-time (50%)

What are your main tasks?

• Standard molecular biology and cell biology methods (extraction and analysis of DNA, RNA and proteins, microscopy, ELISA, cell culture)
• Biochemical tasks, e. g. immunoblotting, immunocytochemistry and immunohistochemistry
• Preparation of tissue using vibratome and cryostat as well as microdissection of tissue and light microscopy
• General laboratory organisation (organisation of laboratory supplies, preparation and maintenance of classical reagents, protocol management, interface with the company, etc.)
• Independent planning and execution of laboratory work
• Excellent record keeping, data management, storage and analysis
• Support in training/teaching of students and young scientists

What do we expect? - Your qualification profile:

• Successfully completed training as a technical assistant (MTA, BTA), biology laboratory assistant or comparable training
• Very good knowledge of German and English
• Practical knowledge of the above-mentioned methods (at least one year) and MS Office
• Experience in animal experiments with certification (e. g. FELASA) is an advantage
• High degree of responsibility and reliability
• Independent and structured way of working
