This postdoctoral position (f/m/x) is offered at the Chair
for Political Psychology, part of the Social Cognition
Center Cologne (SoCCCo) and the Center for Social and
Economic Behavior (C-SEB).
YOUR TASKS
» Plan and conduct your own research in the areas of
social, social-cognitive, and/or political psychology
» Participate in research conducted at the Chair
» Apply for your own or joint research funding
» Assist in teaching political psychology, behavioral
change, experimental methods, or other modules
» Contribute to the active research atmosphere
at SoCCCo and C-SEB
YOUR PROFILE
» Doctoral degree (or expecting to receive one later in
2025) in social psychology or related fields
» Enthusiasm for experimental social psychology with a
focus on political or other societally relevant topics
» Publications in international, empirical, peer-reviewed
journals in psychology
» Expertise in conducting empirical research in social
psychology, including relevant methodological skills
» Enthusiasm for offering high-quality teaching
» Working language is English, German is optional
