TASKS WITH IMPACT

The DOUGLAS Pricing Team is responsible for developing and implementing pricing strategies to ensure consistent and competitive pricing across all markets.
  • Develop and define pricing and promo strategies, set framework and guardrails for pricing and promo rules together with cluster management and board.
  • Continuously review and challenge the pricing strategy across clusters and identify impacts for group pricing strategy.
  • Propose group-wide promo targets, support clusters in the promo planning process, monitor and challenge promo results, as well as the promo framework.
  • Act as PMO for group pricing projects including the definition of the roll-out plan across clusters, conceptualization of pilots, alignment with processes and analytics to ensure process implementation.
  • Conceptualize further group-wide pricing measures currently not covered in the strategy (e.g., reaction to supplier price increases, article life-cycle based pricing).
  • Monitor the current business pacing in the countries and identify improvement levers; monitor pricing-related KPIs and translate them into actionable recommendations for the board.
  • Be the major point of contact and sparring partner for cluster pricing managers in case of questions and inquiries, and manage group-wide knowledge management.
  • Manage cluster alignment and knowledge sharing, including preparation of regular group-wide Pricing Jour Fixes.

YOUR SKILLS
  • You have a mindset of data-driven decision-making.
  • You are a business translator with strong project management skills.
  • Ideally, you have retail/e-commerce and/or pricing experience.
  • Strong communication skills and fluency in English.
  • You work in a team-oriented way and are a true team player.
