At Paessler, we are looking for a PR, Communications & Community Manager (all genders). Own the conversation, shape the narrative: You don’t just communicate—you connect, engage, and influence. As our PR, Communications & Community Manager, you’ll be the voice of Paessler, crafting compelling messages that resonate with journalists, analysts, influencers, and our customer community alike. Whether it’s launching intriguing press releases, building relationships with industry insiders, or sparking technical discussions about our flagship product PRTG Network Monitor, you thrive at the intersection of storytelling, strategy, and community engagement.

YOUR TASKS

  • Be the go-to expert for all things PR, communications, and community within our marketing team.
  • Develop and execute a communication strategy that aligns seamlessly with our corporate vision.
  • Build and grow our customer community—whether it’s Reddit, LinkedIn user groups, or other online spaces, you know how to start conversations and keep them going.
  • Manage PR agencies across our key markets and track success metrics.
  • Cultivate relationships with journalists, analysts, customers, influencers, and brand ambassadors—acting as Paessler’s spokesperson and chief storyteller.
  • Identify and collaborate with relevant tech influencers and brand ambassadors, nurturing long-term partnerships that extend our reach and credibility.
  • Create compelling press releases, PR pitches, and customer case studies, with the support of internal teams.
  • Coordinate analyst relations by planning vendor briefings in collaboration with product management.
  • Lead our social media channels, working closely with content and marketing teams to engage online communities, amplify stories, and build brand presence.

YOUR PROFILE

  • A PR & communications pro with a minimum of 3 years of B2B/SaaS experience—bonus points if you know IT, monitoring, data centers, cloud, or OT.
  • A community builder at heart—you understand where our users hang out, what they care about, and how to make them feel heard and engaged.
  • Experienced in influencer and brand ambassador management, with a knack for building authentic, value-driven relationships.
  • A master at managing agencies, balancing budgets, and collaborating with internal stakeholders.
  • A passionate storyteller—you know how to craft messages that hit the right audience in the right way.
  • Data-savvy: You track, measure, and optimize PR and community success with ease.
  • A natural communicator, fluent in both English and German.
  • Highly organized, adaptable, and skilled at juggling multiple priorities with enthusiasm.
  • A team player who thrives in cross-functional and intercultural collaboration.
